Teaching Career:
· Taught 6th grade for 2 years at West Lyon School,
Inwood, IA (1972-1974)
· Taught grades 3, 4, 5, & 6 at Mobridge School
for 15 years (1974-1991)
· Middle School Principal at Mobridge School for
3 years (1991-1995)
· Elementary Principal at Mobridge School for 13
years (1995-2007) – two buildings, Freeman-Davis (PreK-2)
and Beadle (3-5)
· Elementary Principal at Mobridge-Pollock School
for 2 years (2008-2009) - three buildings, Freeman-Davis,
Beadle and Pollock. I am also the Federal Programs
Director for our District.
State recognition: Nominee for South Dakota Association
of Elementary School Principal’s “Distinguished Principal”
award in 2001.
National Awards: No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon
School Award for Freeman-Davis Elementary in 2004.
My wife, Jodi and I have 2 children, and 4 granddaughters.
